This book is succinct and thorough. Pragmatic and spiritual. My prayer life will never be the same. Thank you to G. Campbell Morgan. This is a must read book for any believer wanting to prevail in prayer .
One of the best practical books on prayer I've ever encountered. Morgan is always insightful and in this book he does a brilliant job of explaining the basis Christians have for praying and then using The Lord's Prayer as a guide to teach us how to pray effectively. Well worth reading!
I got the book and it's in good shape.
Great, great, great book!!! I'm glad it's been reprinted. Had to tear out the first page because it was an advertisement for a book about witchcraft. Guess that's what you get when the publisher is just re-printing old books regardless of their message.
Many readers today have trouble wading through the language of Morgan. I have been a student of his since 1971 and I'm ok with the style from 1905. When I enjoy corn on the cob, I never eat the husk or the silk or the cob... I set it aside and savor the sweet kernels. It may take him a while to get to the point... but it's always worth waiting for and looking for. This is Morgan at his best, but he never delivered less than that in any of his writings.
